[Snake-LS3]

A year ago I installed an LS-3 Corvette crate motor ( #19213229 ) from GM Performance Parts to replace the aluminum-headed 454" I had had in the car for eight years. Pulled the Turbo-400 auto out too and replaced it with a TKO-600 five-speed with a .82 fifth gear ratio. Most pleased with the 2.5X improvement in mileage and
even better performance straight-line and no comparison in cornering with with the markedly lighter nose. I really look forward to driving the 331 miles around the Olympic National Park on a sunny day.2010-11-21 052 2010-11-21 045
