There are 3 wires (w/spade connectors) coming out of wiring harness by cooling fan...blue & black(assuming I connect those directly to cooling fan plug), and green (thermo fan sw). Which the green thermo fan switch wire is also located in harness by intake.
Do I need to connect the thermo switch wire to temp sensor on intake and if so how do I wire green thermo wire by fan??? Or can this wire be discarded???

Thanks!

I only used the wire to the intake. I disregarded the one out by the fan.

The two green wires are connected to each other and do the same thing. Check the schematic. Use whichever one you need. Cover or remove what you don't use.

I followed others' lead and pulled the green thermo switch wire out of the front harness and routed it to a single pole, single throw switch on the dash so that I have (in addition to the engine switch) a manual switch in the car.

Also, before you install weatherpak connectors on the blue & black fan wires be sure to check your fan's current draw. Most weatherpak connectors are rated at 20A; donor fans can be much more than that, making your newly installed weatherpak the "fuse".

At the other end of the spectrum, the fan I received from F5 as part of my complete kit draws a little less than 12A according to its spec sheet. If your fan is like mine, consider replacing the 30A fuse in the RF fuse box with something closer to the expected draw.
