Are there any MK III build threads available?
Yes lots on FFCars.com, this site was launched in the Mk 4 era. That is also why many of us have low post counts here.

I didn't do a build thread, but I did post tons of one-topic threads on my car showing all of the mods and other things I've done. One thread that is close to a build thread was the one i did on my bodywork process - titled Chris' Bodywork Thread Mk3.1. In addition to my stuff, you'll find lots of other individual threads on this forum, but as Joee mentioned, the older FFcars site has more content on the prior models.
