Just curious as to what set-up guys have used with the MK III cars with the Wilwood pedal box.
I initially put my quadrant together with the side mount per FFR instructions but was told this set up was problematic.
Yesterday, I ordered a newer style quadrant from FFR that supposedly mounts the quadrant to the Wilwood pedal.
Last night I read where the newer Wilwood pedals are forged instead of cast (for strength).
I like the cable set-up but am now concerned if the (older style Wilwood) pedal system will hold up.
Those of you with Mk IIIs and Wilwood pedals let me know what has been working for you please.
Thank you!
Scott

That Wilwood break issue was a number of years ago, and I'm pretty certain pre-dates your pedal box. Based on the picture you posted earlier, I think you have the forged pedals. It's pretty easy to tell.

These are the kind that had several breaks:

These are the forged ones. Wilwood's pictures aren't the best, but if you look at the enlargement plus the drawing, you'll see how the pedal is wider plus has multiple ribs.

If you do happen to still have the old ones, replacement forged arms are available and can be swapped into your existing pedal box.

These are the instructions for the Wilwood pedal box including the newer style clutch quadrant. This design mounts to the pedal directly and pulls in the same axis as the pedal pivot.

Thanks edwardb.
I do have the old style pedals.
Just ordered a new set including pedal box.
Will sell the existing unit which would probably be just fine; especially if you run a hydraulic clutch.
Thanks again.
