Driver's 2x2 footbox bevel mod

How many people have beveled the 2x2 frame member at the heal of the driver's footbox? This mod removes the drop off going into the footbox. It looks useful, but I'm wondering if it's worth the effort.

100% worth the effort ... especially if you have larger than average feet. Some guys choose to just bevel a portion of the edge off and weld in a small filler plate. I decided to go a little further and cut the entire corner off to provide the most room and eliminate any chance of catching my heel on that cross bar. And to keep the strength in this portion of the frame, I welded in a thicker piece of plate steel (1/8") to triangulate the cross bar, as well as an additional square piece of 1/8" plate steel to box in the portion of the vertical 2x2 that was also now exposed (on the left side of the footbox).
