Well, the Cobra has finally come home! Due to logistics I have had to leave it back in Iowa, but those days are finally over. Thanks to many of you and your input on the trailer, I rented a uHaul over the holiday and pulled it back to Chicago. Now my wife and I can finally enjoy it. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous as I had never pulled a trailer with a car on it before and being that it was the Cobra I was even more nervous. But the trip went off without a hitch and I couldn't be happier that it is now home.

Here are a few pics... loaded on the trailer

One of my biggest concerns was sidepipe clearance but this one shows just how much space there is between the sidepipes and the trailer.

Finally at home... :)

Now its time to clean that pesky garage...

Tim,

Congratulations on getting it back in your life - hopefully this nice weather will hold and you and your wife will have plenty of time to enjoy it. I'm located out west of the Geneva/Batavia area if you're ever looking for a destination when driving out in the country - stop by sometime and check-out my build.

Congrats on getting it back home. I miss mine if it's even out of the garage overnight!

Nice! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of wheels are those?

Those look to be polished or chromed Cobra III's

Lex you are correct. They are chromed Cobra III's that I picked up on a closeout back in 2006. I got them for $110 apiece. Wish I would have bought another set. :)
