I'd really appreciate some guidance on a few simple wiring questions as this is not one of my strengths. I have the most recent Ron Francis wiring harness and older AutoMeter Ultra Lite electronic gauges (from 2011, for whatever that's worth). I feel like I have everything mostly figured out, but need some guidance on the following:

Question 1: As far as I can tell, none of my AutoMeter Ultra Lite electronic gauges has a clock or otherwise needs the red "Speed-clock memory" wires (in the first picture), and thus I should add heat-shrink insulation to the ends of the "speed-clock memory" wires and secure them to the other wires. Is this correct?

Question 2: I am not sure if the grey speed sensor return wire (also in the first picture) is used with my gauges. There is one more spade/plug on my speedometer, at the far right if looking at the connectors, which I have not used. However, the Ron Francis manual (Rev. S) does not mention the grey return wire; it simply says to attach the green wire (from the same plug) to the upper left spade/plug. So, is this grey return wire used, and if so, where does it go? I am using a T5 transmission with the electronic sending unit.

Question 3: The picture below shows what I have devised in place of the FFR starter switch. On the bottom is a Longacre heavy duty ignition switch, rated at 40 amps, with the headlight lead on the feed side, the brown accessory feed and "alternator IGN" wires on the other side, and a thick jumper wire from the thick red power wire providing power to that pole as well. In the middle is another Longacre HD switch, with the main power wire on top and orange ignition feed on the bottom, with a thick jumper wire over to the third switch, a Longacre 40-amp momentary toggle to actually start the car once the other two switches provide power to the accessory circuits, the ignition circuits, and the momentary start toggle. Does anyone see any problems with this setup?
