If I wanted to use something other than the material that comes with the kit for the dash. How long and wide would it have to be???
Most you have to buy by the yard. I had to buy 2 yards to cover my dash but there's enough left for about 3 more dashes. Going width wise the material was about 4" too short.

Jo ann Fabrics has half price specials now and then. You need 2 yards because of the length of the dash. Skip the spay glue and get a quart of Weldwood brush on stuff. I had a bad time with 3m 77 and wasted one round of material. Lets call that practice...
