I know this is a bit in the wrong place but the cable works very well and is very responsive if set up properly. I did NOT "S" curve my cable but left it in a large arch u shape and attached it to the front of my fitech. You can do the same to your XFI. This way its not stressing the cable. Also use the the proper return springs which should already be included with your xfi. The fitech has very strong return springs. Good luck with the build.
