Hey Guys,
I have done a lot of searching on this, but just want to verify. I have the oval cobra air filter. Are my only two options for air filters the K&N or the S&B? I currently have the 1.8 inch filter in there, but would like a taller one.
Thanks!
Scottie

I had that same oval air filter in my Mk3 build with a 302 size SBF. I used a KNN-E-1963. 3-inches tall. They apparently don't breathe very well with the short filter. If you have room, this one works.

Thanks! I’ll have to measure to see if the 3 inch tall one will fit.

The 3 inch will be a tight fit. Calling S&B today to see which part number is the 2.5 inch tall filter

I am using the s&B 2.5 with the cobra Dual to single Airfilter assembly avail from branda. It's a tight fit but works well. 77698
