I’m 1 week away from completing my first build and yesterday my second roadster is delivered. This one I am planning on doing a build thread. Wish I had done first 1st one also. All that is left is splash guards, nose pieces around radiator and louvers, then the crazy Calif DMV registration. Then graduation.

Awesome paint job on #1. Well done.
What are you doing with the 2 cars. Keeping both? Building one for someone else?
Look forward to the build thread.

Thanks Scott. I know the color is not the traditional Cobra colors and I should hang my head in shame, but saw one like this and could not get it out of my mind. My original thought was silver, black stripes.
I would love to have 2 but my wife has informed me that only 1 roadster per family. I have a good friend who has alway loved the roadsters but does not know a socket whrench from a open end. As it happens I love the build so I will build it for him and he can watch and learn. I told him he pays for the parts and beer and we will get him on the road.

Getting a chance to do a second build for your pal shows just how much faith he has in your abilities.

The beauty of these things is you build it so you can make it however you want. No hanging your head in shame. haha. I love me some blue cars but my specific intent was to build something that did not look like everyone else's. You have done a great job and I love the individuality.
That is awesome you can build one for/with your friend. That is exactly the situation I would love to find myself in. I need to find a buddy that will finance his build in my garage. ;) Would love to build another but certainly don't need 2! Trying to justify a Gen 3 coupe because it is different. haha Have fun with that build.

Only 1 fully completed? The first one is never really done anyway, so the 2nd will be your 'finished' one :)
I like the color choice - it's a good change from the norm and helps set it apart.

And after Chicago, how about Metro Detroit? I have all the parts and will supply beer too !
