Hi all,
I'm a newbie on the forum. I am very much interested in building a type 65 coupe - I think they are a real eye catcher. First I need to see one up close to see if I can actually fit in it (I'm 6'2 and 220 lbs) and wondered if there were any of these in the Toronto-Hamilton Ontario area that I might be able to check out.

Welcome!

I'm 6'0" @220 with a 30 inch inseam, and I fit just fine in my Coupe. In fact, I had room for more leg length or headroom if I needed it. You get to pick the seat mounting location, so you'll be fine.

Thanks for the reply. I would be using the coupe on track lapping days requiring a helmet. Would there still be enough headroom with a helmet?

If you're 6'2" with a 24" inseam, you might have a problem! :)

griff91,

I'm 6'1", 200 lbs, 34" inseam. I use the Kirkey Road Race seat mounted flat on the floor, all the way back and have plenty of legroom. I've done track time with a helmet and no problem. My instructor was a little taller than me and he fit as well.
