I have a Gen 2 going together. May make the HB Cruise-In, otherwise I will have my MK 4 Roadster at the event. Karen is an incredible resource! Put simply, she has been there and done that!

How often do you meet for breakfast or in general? I'm in OC. I'm looking at building a 65 coupe with my son. We are taking the building school class this June and would like to meet up with folks in the area that are either building or have build these cars.

I belong to the Cobra Owners Club of America, Orange County Chapter. The club meets once a month for dinner in Orange, holds a car show in Costa Mesa in June, two track days per year at Willow Springs and a holiday party in December. Of course all brands of Ford performance products are welcome including originals, continuations and replicas. FFR is represented within the ranks. You can find this club on the internet to join.

I have a Gen 2 Coupe being professionally built in San Diego. About 90% at this time.

Im about finished with my 3rd roadster build and now I’m interested in building a Type 65 Coupe. But I would like to see if I can fit in one. My main concern is getting in and out. Would love to meet up with someone willing to let my check one out. Im in SoCal. Thanks

Hello David,

As mentioned previously, I have a Gen 2 Coupe being built in El Cajon, CA. It is at 98% completion with IRS and a 408 stroker. I travel south to the shop about once a month. Not sure if this will help you however if you are in the San Diego area we might be able to coordinate schedules.
