I decided to drill my roll bar holes and discovered that the passenger side was effed up. When I sent the body out for paint, I told them to glass in the right side holes and I'd drill them later. I thought about it for a while and then made these up:

It's a piece of 1.5" steel tubing with a stud plate welded on top and the stud sharped to a four-sided point, like a nail. The tip is just below the body. Once the body is on, just push up and twist and the point will penetrate the body. Then use the hole to pilot the holesaw. Here's the outboard side.
