banjo brake lines

I'm not sure if I was short shipped here or I am overlooking something
I'm laying out my parts for the Upgraded Wilwood brake package front & rear and....

All I have are two 17" stainless braided Banjo brake lines with no bolts or crush washers and two 17" non banjo lines.

Shouldn't I have 4 banjo lines with washers and bolts for front and back?

As I recall don't you have the 2015+ Mustang IRS and upgraded Wilwood brakes? If so, a pair of braided brake lines should be in each box (front and rear). Those style calipers from Wilwood don't use banjo connections. The brakes include an angled fitting for each caliper. NPT threads into the caliper and -AN fitting for the braided brake line.

Thanks Ed. Presuming you are correct, I can't figure out why they sent me 2 banjo lines in addition to the 4 plain braided lines. For my info, what the appreciations NPT and -AN mean?

this is an NPT (national pip thread) (the bottom) to -3 AN (AN being the type of tapered end that an SS hose is usually screwed on to) on the top. EdwardB said angled and I think they are usually 30 to 45 degrees so would look like this but longer and bent in the middle.

The NPT end would be screwed into your caliper (with the proper sealant) and then the SS hose attached to the AN end.

Wilwood provides this flexline kit for the Wilwood 2015 IRS setup and their matching front setup: http://www.wilwood.com/LineKits/LineKitsProd.aspx?itemno=220-12092. Shows the angled adapter that I mentioned earlier. Installation is described in the Wilwood instructions that are shipped with the brakes. There's even a sticker over the port in the caliper saying only to use the NPT adapter. If you had tried to use the banjo fittings it wouldn't have gone well. Factory Five provides the pair of SS lines with the banjo fittings for the stock brakes normally provided with the complete kit. I agree since you ordered the optional brakes, probably those lines should not have been included. But they did with mine as well. Those won't be the only parts you don't need or use.

Thanks. Pretty sure I understand now. CraigS mentions "the proper sealant". What do I use and where do I use it?
