Has anyone put the AC pedals over the stock type pedals, if so how did you bond them to the metal on the pedals?

Both Forte (http://www.fortesparts.com/factory-five-kit-cars/wilwood-pedal-pads) and ********** (http://www.**********accessories.com/p-81-ac-pedal-pads.aspx) have bolt on pedals. I'd call Forte and tell him what you need; he's extraordinarily knowledgeable, competitively priced, and his customer service can't be beat.

I cut off the original pedal pads from the donor brake/clutch combo and welded on a couple of tabs, to which I mounted the AC pedals.

I also notched the brake lever so that the AC pedal would have room to articulate....

has anyone just ground off the mount on pedal and used a bonding agent to attach them?

I cut (+ ground) off the mount on the pedal and used 4 small flat head Allen screws on each.

I picked a (black) screw head that would countersink in the (black) lines of the AC pedal - in the lines above and below the AC emblem.

Drilled through original SN95 pedals to attach.

Works great.

IIRC, I had to rearrange the angle of the brake pedal, which got a significant rework for manual brakes anyway (6:1 / length mod).

One nice feature of how I installed mine is that they rotate through the pedal travel - keeping them flat on my foot without over-articulating my ankles. I spring-loaded them, too, so they don't flop down or rattle when at rest.

Afterthought - I may have rearranged the angle on the clutch pedal too.

One of the beauties of the SN95 pedal box is that they are steel and (relatively) easily reworked to how + where you want them to fit in the foot box.

I cut the old pedals off, put the pedal arms on a vice and bent them to the right angle, drilled a hole in pedal arms that matched the AC pedal holes and bolted them together.
