Hi Guys,
Need a little advice on mounting the transmission. What poly mount should I be using and do I need spacer(s) also?
How high about the rear 4" crossmember should I be setting the trans height?
This is a Mark 4/351w/quicktime bell housing and a tko600 trans.
Thanks for the help

The most common motor mount/transmission mount setup is the Energy Suspension 4-1124G, provided by Factory Five in the complete kit. It includes the 4.1104G transmission mount. Typically spacers are required. But the height is dependent on pinion angle. Not a height dimension over the 4-inch tube chassis tube. Hopefully you have the mounting flange on the tailshaft of the TKO trimmed off.

Hi Ken,

If you are using a straight axle set up (not the IRS), then bolt the TKO in place with the Energy Suspension mount in the "Engine Mount Kit" from FFR. NO spacers required. Adjust the rotation of the differential to set the pinion angle. This is pretty easy with the 3-link with the adjustable link bar off the top of the banana support. If you are using IRS you may need a spacer to help set the pinion angle - IRS not my forte.

Upon a thorough box check, I found that I didn't receive my poly trans mount in the complete kit. Thanks Dave and EdwardB for the help.

Did you receive the motor mounts? The transmission mount should be in the same box. Three pieces.
