Hey Guys,

I'm getting closer to placing an order for my Boyd Aluminum Fuel Tanks and had some questions I'm sure you guys can help with. When I obtained my donor parts kit, I deleted the fuel tanks, fuel pump, and sending unit knowing I would be going with AL tanks. I have decided to go with the Lingenfelter High Flow pump for a few reasons. Being that I only need the fuel pump in the one tank, there is a crossover line, and the brass fittings on top of both tanks are what I assume is used for venting both tanks, do I really need the sending unit that goes into the other tank? Or can I get the guys over at Boyd's to just get me a close off panel to plug the hole in the top of that tank? I hope I'm not oversimplifying this. BTW there will be a returnless fuel rail on my LS3.

As long as the Lingenfelter pump has a sending unit on it, no...you should not need to put a sender in the other tank. That is assuming that you have a programmable fuel gauge that will work with the single sender.

Great point Shane, I'll have to check with Tino on his system and see what options I'll have. With his skills, I'm sure we can work it out.
