Anyone use the Chev LS in their build?

Hello everyone, I have been looking to build an FFR Kk4 and have an opportunity to get a new LS3 at a very reasonable price. My first plan was a stroked 351w or at least a Ford big block, but the LS engine has great potential and is available through a friend.

Has anyone gone the LS route, and if so what additional steps are needed.
-wiring
-mounts
-clearances
-trans.

Hi Zach,

There are actually a number of guys that have used the LS in their Roadsters. All the normal things you would think have to be changed or be different. If I recall correctly though, most of the hard stuff has been figured out. you might try giving Mike Forte a call (forum vendor). Although I haven't seen them in person, Mike has worked out engine mounts, etc. for the LS install and I'm sure would set you off in the right direction.
