It is 9:05 a.m. I got my wife and son out the door headed for a beach day about a half hour ago, just finished cleaning the kitchen (I made a batch of pancakes for 'em -- and me of course), so here it is a gorgeous day and they won't be home until late tonight.
Gonna make another pot o' joe and move into the garage to hopefully make some more progress again on the car. Everything today is bodywork, just getting things to fit. I have a specific list;
1) Deal with a fitment issue on my trunk lid.
2) Touchup filing on my hoodscoop opening, which looks nice but is not symmetrical side-to-side and is therefore bothering me.
3) Fit the hood, move the t-handles inboard a few inches, HSRF the old holes, drill for the hood pins, and figure out my rubber button setup to make it all sit nice.
4) Wire-brush my door hinges, which have accumulated some surface rust, and prime them.
5) Put an initial surface sanding on the doors and get 'em attached and possibly fitted.
6) Mount the driver side rollbar bezels (passenger side already done).
7) Mount the LeMans cap.
8) Mount the windshield (this evening, once a couple neighbors get home that can help me out).
Whew. We'll see.
