GTM Carbon fiber looking dash question.

Do you have to cut out the lower center of the gauge insert so the LS dash fits over the steering column? Or do you lower the column with spacers? All I know is it won't fit. I have telescoping column. Thanks for any help on this. :confused:

Steve, I cut it out if I remember correctly , Built Gen 1 in 2007/8.....76804

Yes, I had to cut a part out to fit the steering column (inkluding plastic cover).
