I have an IRS center section from the Challenge Car kit I purchased. >> This is still available as of 6/14/2018

This really needs to go.


Marked as 3L55, Mike Forte indicated that this is a 3.55 gear with the Ford Traction-Loc differential. Iron case painted black, aluminum rear cover/mount.

Unused as far as I know, shows no signs of being used except it was installed in the chassis when I purchased it.

Can ship but it weighs 100#. I do have a box for it. I would drive an hour or so to meet a buyer in lower western MI or close.

Hey Jim. Definitely brand new. A take-out would have a nipple in the back cover vent hole where yours still has the little yellow plastic plug. Plus the driveshaft flange would be rusty. They get that way very quickly. Also definitely a 3.55. That's how they're marked. All are Traction-Loc. Good luck with your sale.

It would appear to be the exact same as the option for the mk4 kit. Can you verify this? If so I would be interested. PM sent

Yes, this is that same as used for the MKIV Roadster and may have come from FFR with the original purchase. As indicated, this was installed in the Challenge Car, a 2016 MKIV chassis #8885, that I purchased unassembled.
