Registration and hotel information for the 2018 Texas Cobra Club Spring Meet is now available at Texas Cobra Club Spring Meet – 2018. The dates are April 4-8 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in San Marcos, TX.

Guys, Sorry for the delay in getting more information out about the 2018 Texas Cobra Club Spring Meet. I have been having a few issues with my web-hosting service. (hackers and password problems) It should be cleared up by this weekend.

So far we have 22 cars registered with 43 Drivers/Guests on the list. We are working on a couple of new things to do at the event. Details are quickly developing and I will post new information as I get it.

Please be patient with the website. I will post up when things are back to normal and registration can resume.

The 2018 Texas Cobra Club Spring Meet is off to a great start! So far we have:

49 Drivers/Guests registered with
25 Cars
35 Banquet Tickets Sold

There are only 99 days to go before the first cars start showing up in San Marcos.

We are in talks with Harris Hill about a track day, so stay tuned for that.

We were approached by the City of San Marcos about having a few cars on display around the city square on Friday, April 6th late afternoon (4-7pm). There are plenty of restaurants, live music, and other activities in the downtown area. More details to come for the activity.

With that, we are going to move the hamburger cookout to Thursday evening along with our "movie night." Friday evening will be an open night for the evening meal. We will be showing movies outside on Friday evening as well.

Hotel rooms will go fast so please register for the event and get your room reservations soon.

SPECIAL UPDATE: We will be honored this year with a quest speaker at our Banquet on Saturday evening. Rich MacDonald, Dave MacDonald's son, will be giving a presentation on the racing career of his father. Dave MacDonald was the first driver to ever win a race driving a Cobra.

I was just going thru all of the updates and new registrants details for the Spring Meet. There are quite a few folks that have made hotel reservation but have not actuallyregistered for the event.

If you fall in that group of folks, please go ahead and register for the event. It helps us immensely with all of the ancillary planning for the event. Good bags, maps, give-away items, etc.

Go to Texas Cobra Club Spring Meet to register. It will be greatly appreciated.


You can also order your event T-shirt online as well from the main website. All shirt orders must be prepaid and little to no quantities of extra shirts will be produced.

On Friday, April 06, during the Spring Meet down in New Braunfels, TX, just a few miles from the Embassy Suites in San Marcos, Eric Lyczak has made arrangements at a local performance shop to do dyno pulls.

Pulls start at 9am and are by reservation only. Please RSVP to Eric at 309-838-2818 or by email at elyczak@aol.com

Two pulls for $60.* Print with HP, Torque, and Air/Fuel ration at WOT will be available.

Hey gang. My car is not yet finished, so hopefully I'll be participating next time. But... Being so close, there is just no way I can pass up a chance to come see the cars. When is the best time for a stroll around? The friday tailgate party?

skidd, you are correct. Friday after 5 or 5:30 mos of the cars will be back from the Hill Country Cruises and hungry for burgers and dogs. Come have some food with us. i will be helping with the cooking so come by and introduce yourself

IMPORTANT TCC SPRING MEET REGISTRATION INFO:

Online registration and Meal Ticket purchases for the Saturday Night Banquet will end at 6pm on Sunday, April 1st.

There will be onsite registration starting on Wednesday, April 4th at noon but meal tickets can only be bought online.

I need to have the headcount for the banquet turned on Monday, April 2nd.
