LS3 ECU problems

new LS3 6.2L crate engine chevrolet performance part number 19301326
new engine controller unit and harness chevrolet performance part number 19354328

just completed the build 33 hot rod and everything worked fine in the garage. when driving to DMV for the first time on the road to get a VIN number and a required mechanical inspection I got stranded twice.
The ECU shuts down the spark so the engine won't start.
What is going on with the ECU?

Any error code generated?

I've got the GM crate system in my car, but never had a problem with it. As you know, there are only a few wires to hook up, one being the pink wire to the ignition switch that turns the computer on. If that one dies, everything shuts down.
