Title pretty much spills the beans.
Anyone in here ever built a roadster with red interior? Any pics that I could see?
Getting an idea so crazy it just might work....

A Black Roadster, Red Stripes & A Red Interior Would Be Stunning!

I have had a red interior since 2008, the car is silver. Unfortunately Photo Bucket has taken down all of my photos, and I have not set up a new service. Maybe someone else has a photo of it, but don't hold your breath.

@GoDadGo: you are right, that would be a gorgeous color combo! (I see you are in Slidell: my wife went to Northshore HS!)
@Derald Rice: silver exterior is what I am thinking. More specifically, Steel Cities Gray, which is an old Corvette color from the early 70's. I am looking at a number of photos on Google Images right now, and it is very interesting. For example, some cars still have a black dash while others went all red.

This is not my car. It was at the HB Cruise-In in 2015. Black, no stripes, gloss black roll bars, natural black side pipes and the dark red interior. It is beautiful.

Alan, a local guy in Lake Elsinore California, Juniors Custom Upolstry. Perforated in the centers, added some padding and seat heaters. Love his work.

Like a red interior on the right exterior colour. Black being one.

Great idea. You have to be careful of the red though. Be sure to see it in person before committing.

That is no lie! Don't want to expect a deep fairly dark red and what shows up is fire engine red! Or something like that....

The pictures make mine look fire engine red and actually they are deeper, flatter red.
I saw a roadster with dark brown interior, almost like a distressed leather couch.....looked awesome, almost went that way.

Originals came with red interiors. Always appreciated this 289 in Princess Blue and red.

Our car is gloss black, typical Ford color but in water base, and a dark burgundy interior. Seats, dash, console, door panel inserts, carpet - even the trunk. It is very classy looking.

We have tons of pictures...but they are the first rendition of "Kai". I will post one as our avatar after we get the seats back. Side story, blew the motor last year and we just replaced it two weeks ago. In the interium,we decided to change the headless (we had HID's) with flat bulbs and high density filaments, add a new radiator and some wheel well panels to direct the air flow, seal the underside to stop the hot air from blowing on us on long rides and change the seats from high back to low back. everything is done with the exception of the seats. The upholstery shop has had them for 4 months. Arghh... Once they are done and in the car I will post pictures. The original seats were the FF included high back seats and we had them refabricated and made into low backs. We went with the same color but added perforated insets.
