I have the FFR leather low sets. Probably shoulda stuck with the Vinyl. But it rains here in Florid 6 out of 7 days per week. So for emergency rain squals would like to find some waterproof seat covers that I could slide onto the seats.

Wondering if anyone knows if seat covers from a production car such as a Fiat 124, MGB, Sunbeam, or VW beetle etc would fit. I am sure these seats are a fairly common size and dimension just dont know what that dimension is.

I have not installed any cockpit carpet as yet, for the same reason. Maybe a removable piece of indoor outdoor black carpet.

Appreciate the feedback.

Back in the day when I had a SUnbeam Tiger or a fiat 124 spider or an alfa romeo spider veloche, I had a tonneau cover that would zip down the middle and I could drive with the drivers side open. I have not seen anything like this recently.

Factory Five sales a Tonneau kit, this may be the fix you need!

That woud be a goold fix if it also fit a MK4 with 2 rollbars. Thanks anyway
I will call and see if it will be made to fit the mk4 in the future...

"Fits FFR Mk1, II, and III.
-We only manufacture this cover in black. It is set up for one roll bar and standard low back street seats"

If you want something to cover the entire cockpit while you are parked without dragging out the whole car cover, California Covers makes a small lightweight cover that goes over the windshield and rollbar(s). Also great as a sunshade to prevent the interior from getting too hot.

I called them and ordered the 2 rollbar version.

I’m in Florida as well, and feel your pain. Contact Phillip and Kay, get on of their snap less tonneau covers, they work well in the rain. I never leave home without it. As a bonus, it keeps the sun off the seats when parked, helps a lot. Don’t sweat the seats too much, the FFR leathers hold up well.
