Before I start cutting, I want to make sure I didn’t screw up elsewhere. The hood fits without excessive trimming, grill looks to be at correct angle, and rake seems right. But the nose cone is way way too long. See pics. Os there something I can’t think of I need to check before I trim this much off to fit? Pic is taken with it up against body forward arms.

This is the backside of radiator and grill to show it’s not excessively far back, no further than instructions say.

That looks about the same as mine was. I haven't done a final fit on that part yet because I was waiting to see if I
could use the steel pan when it finally comes out. A few folks have said that the chin needs about 3/8" cut from the
middle of it to make it fit the grille properly. Have you read dangerous curves yet ?

I have read that one but it’s been a little while.

Thanks, Dave. I’m not afraid of cutting a section out of it. I just didn’t wanna cut it and end up too short!! Thanks. I’ll fit her up then.

Mine was too long and too wide...you'll have to cut it up to make it fit well

As with all FFR kits the fiberglass parts are oversized so you can trim them to the kind of fit you want. These are not model car kits. Part of the fun is making everything fit to your own taste. What you have done so far looks fine. Keep up the good work.

Compliments like that from you more experienced guys make my head bigger.
