I'm trying to determine how to hook up my Ford inertia switch with the Engine Control system for my Coyote. The power distribution box has a lead for the fuel pump, but no connection for the inertia switch. Can I just wire it in to the pump supply lead or do I need a relay?

On the production wiring the inertia switch is wired directly inline with the pump power wire going to the back of the Mustang, so yes, you can simply take the pump lead from the PDB, route it to the inertia switch and then the inertia switch output can go to the pump itself. Be sure to mount the inertia switch to a solid frame member so it will "feel" any impact hard enough to kill the pump.
HTH...

Anytime, though responses might be slower now that I have two forums to scan all the time! LOL
