What type of hose is being used on the brake remote resivors?

I currently have fuel line that would work but I feel the multi purpose rubber tubbing would be better.

Thanks forecourt reply

Absolutely do not use fuel line for the usual DOT 3/4 brake fluid. It can't handle it. You need hoses made from EPDM. Your kit came with hose material. If you have an aftermarket reservoir (like CNC) they typically come with hoses. Or if you need to buy something new, available from multiple sources. Just get the right stuff. None of my local auto parts stores carry it BTW. Auto Zone, O'Reilly, Advance, NAPA, etc.

That's what I needed to know, thanks Edward.

Double Ditto On Using The Fuel Hose For This Task!

It's got to be a hose designed to handle brake fluid or bad things will happen.

Wilwood makes a hose kit for remote reservoirs, pn 220-3357. Mine contained Gates ADAPTA FLEX Multi-Purpose 3/8 inch hose.

I will be upgrading to remote reservoirs this winter, ( along with a multitude of other upgrades ), and plan on using Fragola braided stainless brake lines. Don't see the need for anything more than a 3/16 line, and the frags have a EPDM lining along with a positive engagement at each end of the line instead of a hose clamp.

FYI, Tractor Supply sells EPDM hose. I needed only 2 short pieces, so I grabbed this...
