I am looking to buy a couple spares, I cannot recollect who the vendor is that I bought the heat shields from, all I remember is that they also sold heat shields for corvettes.

Help !

That's a nice looking clamp for your heat shields, when you recall your vender please post.

I'm interested!

Yes, I think I bought them fromb Cobras tuff but haven't found if they sell the clamps alone. I believe I saw that ********** had the clamps tho.

it is Cobrastuff that uses those clamps. The shields cost from $170 plus shipping to $230 plus shipping.

The response I got from Cobrastuff is to buy them from **********. They are $70 for a set of 4 and I only need one. It IS in my garage somewhere.

Looked at the McMaster carr site, the clam I have is stamped with " 84 - 92mm"
if I get a few and a couple rivnuts I should be able to make one up.

Plus I can learn how to use the rivnuts that I order from amazon for other areas on the roadster where some better that an aluminum rived should be. such as the side edges of the console tunnel and the straps I made to make the dash removable and the access panels in the trunk.

the mc part that seems to match up best is....5204K14

If the clamps don't open up to allow the use of the typical nutsert tool, you can make a compact tool. Check out this thread:
