So my exhaust pipe on the driver side is out at an angle. Isnt there a wedge we can buy that off sets this? and pushes it back towards the car? it is only the driver side... passenger side is perfectly parallel with the body

Breeze has them. Search for "wedge" and a number will pop up. You determine which wedge you need depending on how much the end of the pipe needs to move.

Cheers,

As John said...however, don't do anything until the body is fully and finally fitted. Typically the lower edge of the body on the drivers side has to be pulled outward in front of the rear wheel. After this is done you may find that the pipe and body are parallel, or closer to.

Awdturbo,

I also have an issue with the driver side exhaust. The ds header flange is exposed and sticks out past the body panel. You clearly see the top flange bolt. I dont see attempting to shift the motor would help. And, pulling the body out in that area is counter to pushing it in for ds door fitment.

The header flange on the ps is cleanly tucked under the body. I have shifted the body to the left so it is equal distance from fender lip to upper shock mount, so I believe the body is where it needs to be.

My headers are gas'n headers... The flang on the driver side looks like it is welded at an angle facing the front... The exhaust on the driver side is like 4" off from where it should be... I'll post a picture tonight when I get home.

Yep, every car I've done with a 351Windsor based engine and FFR 4 into 4 headers has been that way. Not saying it's right but it is typical.

Jeff,

It's been bothering me from the first day the body went on. Thanks for clearing up this item. I figured when you were doing the bodywork and paint, you'd work your magic on it.
