Has anyone used escrow.com?

I m looking at purchasing an unfinished kit. And can not make it to see the car in person
I have seen pictures but I m looking for a way to protect myself and seller in this deal. I would also need to ship the kit that is not running at the moment.
Does anyone have any opinions on this or recommendations?

Place a post asking someone in the area to look at the kit, I did this for a fellow member and worked out fine

I used Escrow.com to sell a domain name to an individual/company. Very skeptical about releasing the ownership to an unknown entity which involved 5 digit number. Sounded too much like a scam. But with Escrow.com, it worked exactly as I wanted and they performed without flaw.

The only negative I saw was the electronic bank transfer took 48 hrs when it could have been done in less than 4. I suspect it was their internal dealings that caused the delay.

I'd do it again
