View Full Version : HEADERS: stock manifolds? Shorties? or full length 4 into 4?

So factory five wants $599 for shorties + 200 for the straight pipes and I find this to be ridiculous as considering shorties aren't going to be much better than the stock coyote manifolds. Can the stock 11-14 manifolds that came withe donor engine be used with the ffr supplied straight pipes? If not I think I'm going to splurge for the 4 into 4's. Thoughts?

Yes, the first builder with a Coyote and needed another option beside shorties and J pipes. He used the flexible building tool for custom headers and had the 4:1:4s made. They turned out so good they became the standard we all use now. Back then the company that built the first set was called Stainless Headers.
