I have read the previous posts about the stock vette seat belts and the danger of removing the inertial locking mechanism that the instructions tell us to do. Do anyone know if FFR has corrected this? If not, why in the world would they not weld the mount plates in the correct orientation so that the inertial locking mechanism would function as designed and no modification would be needed?

Keith,

For a time, MikesPMS (Mike Jimimez - other forum) made and sold a set of brackets that bolted to the FFR frame/holes and held the seatbelt retraction mechanism at the correct angle on the correct side of the car so you didn't have to worry about that. Works perfectly.

May want to try to PM and see if he's still got some left.

These are the brackets you need. To bad Shane at VRaptors did not produce these as it is a must have to make the seat beats work properly. Not sure way factory Five Does not makes an update to the car. These are a must have.

The pics that Edgeman posted will allow wider seats at the base to fit. In my opinion, a must have.
