I have disconnected my smog pump but still have the stock belt running around it. I want to remove the pump but not sure of the belt measurement for a new belt. I know others have already dealt with this so I'm open for remedies.

I took the old belt, cut it once, then had a helper deflect the tensioner more than is needed while I pulled the remaining belt ends to overlap and mark them.
I measured the marked length, and bought one a little longer and one a little shorter. Put one of 'em on, see what the tensioner marks say about your belt length, then return the one you don't need.
