I have been reading this forum for a while now and thought I would post a thread on my big block build

I purchased my complete kit back in Nov 2014 and started assembly Nov 2015 and the car was street legal Apr 2015 and the paint and interior was completed Aug 2017(black on black). So far I have about 2500 miles on the car and it is a blast to drive, I love the sound of the big block and the side pipes.

The motor is a 390FE with a March pulley setup, MSD ready to run, MSD atomic EFI, Hooker headers, March single wire alternator and power steering pump.

I installed a Center Force dual friction clutch and pressure plate, Quick time bell housing, TKO 500 trans with midshift kit, power steering.

I purchase this kit to be a retirement project and I have to say that I have had a lot of fun building the car and love getting the complete car out on the road and seeing all of the heads turn when you drive bye.

Great looking roadster. Thy always look great in black.

Curious. Why did you wait a year after receiving it, before you began the build?

Car looks great!

I really like the accessories kit on the front of your engine! It really looks awesome, and makes the engine look even better.

Nice build; thanks for sharing the pics.

Thank you for the positive comments I have tried very hard to end up with a nice looking project that would pass the 2 foot test.

Bill

I made a deal with my wife that the car would be a retirement project and I did not retire until Nov 2015

I also need to give a shout out to Forte's Parts and Breeze automotive for all their help and advise in getting the car completed Mike and Mark were a big help

My fist post did not include pics of the completed interior and the engine bay
