Corbeau A4 Wide

I read that the standard width Corbeau A4 seat fits very nicely into the MKIV Roadster. Has anyone installed the Wide A4's? Corbeau' site says the Wide option is 1" wider at each dimension.

I took the tape measure to my seats as they sit in the car and the shoulder bolster area would be a problem with 1" wider seats; the other areas may be ok. I have had some big people in my car with no complaints about the seats, so find a car with standard A4's and give them a try.
