Has anyone had leaks in the MK4 Front shocks, and is there a warranty remedy? I have been building my kit since July 2010 and have about 50 miles on the chassis, getting ready for paint. Looked at the Koni Site, it says lifetime warranty for original purchaser. I will contact FFR first I think, once I can figure what the model number is as I am sure that will be the first question.

We can see fluid sitting on the seat of the drivers side shock. it seems to be green.

at nearly $250 each I wonder if anyone has a rebuild service.

We aill know the complete story once the shock is removed from the car.

Contact Factory Five because I think (but am not sure) that the KONI's have a lifetime warranty.

I would wipe it off and see what happens after you get a few hundred miles at least on the car.
Some things work better when they are getting a little use.

Green fluid?
Anti-freeze immediately comes to mind. Sure it wasn't a little overflow from the coolant tank burprng, or the lower rad hose springing a pinhole leak?
