I have a MK4 with the Russ Thompson turn signal. I would like to run an aftermarket wheel like a Momo or Spaarco. Does anyone know of anyone who makes a hub adapter?

Although I can't help with a store bought piece, there is another option. To any local machine/CNC shop, adapting an FFR hub to a different wheel is like a mathematician doing simple addition/subtraction. They'd probably give it to the apprentice to bang it out between real jobs it would be so easy. All they'd do is mount the hub in a CNC fixture and find center, measure the radius and bolt pattern of the new wheel, punch it into solidworks(or similar CAD/CAM) in 2D, then peck drill it out. They'd tap it for you or save some money and do that yourself since it's soft aluminum.
Milwaukee was once the machine tool capital of the world so I'm surrounded by local shops, but if you're in Philly there's bound to be several close to you looking to make some quick cash on an easy job. If you're interested in more details just PM me. Just something to think about...

Laurence,

I'm running a Grant steering wheel with a Jegs quick disconnect.
I ordered a second upper steering shaft from Dan at Factory Five and had the spline fitted and TIG welded.

That way I can install the original F-5 wheel if I decide to sell the car down the road.
I don't know if this helps, but it can't hurt to look at a quick disconnect option if you are going to change the wheel.

Speaking of steering wheels, I was on mustangs unlimited trying to figure out a way on how to make the center a horn button. I haven't seen anyone that has done this yet that I know of

We've done it a number of time, a couple of different ways. Fab work is required either way.

Is there a thread on how it is done that you can point me to.
I am lucky enough to have access to a full CNC machine shop, welding shop
