just ordered one of fast freddies windshields they are on sale for $450.00. hope they are as good as everyone says as my experience with lexan in my race cars was that they scratched pretty easily.

How does one find the elusive "Fast Freddie" to order a windshield? I will need one, will need the whole frame and side arms as well.

http://www.fastfreddiesfabrications.com/shop/product.php?id_product=1. That's only for the Lexan and new gasket material. It's assumed you're replacing the glass in an existing windshield. I'm personally not aware of any sources for the frame and arms only. Typically what's sold is the complete windshield assembly including glass or replacement glass only. Maybe someone else knows of a source. You could put a wanted ad in the forums.

Purchase a complete windshield assembly from FFR and us the frame and side mounts. Sell the windscreen. There's always people on the forums looking for a replacement glass windshield.

to alv69, I've got 10,000 miles on my Fast Freddie and it still looks great. Main thing is it hasn't cracked.
