Having a problem with my Autometer fuel gauge,stays at full,worked fine last year.Ignition off,needle goes to empty.Sometime goes down to 3 quarter but never lower.
Fuel tank & sender from FFR.MK4,all new stuff. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks, Robert

Ground at the tank? Most of the time electrical gremlins are grounds. Try that first then possibly the sender. HTH, Richard.

pull the wire off the sender and see where the gaube goes, then ground the wire and see what the gauge does.

Pulled the sender from the tank,worked it by hand,gauge works fine,added a ground wire to the frame.
When connector off,needle goes way pass full,switch off,needle goes to empty.Seems to be working
fine.Right now, tank is full,will burn some fuel and see what happens.Thanks for the info.
