Just got the kit last week. Been through all the boxes once and don't see the spacing tool nor do I notice this anywhere on the inventory sheets. Any clues. Just put an email in the Courtney.

It looks like a ruler 16-18 inches long with holes along each side. 2-inch spacing on one side. 3-inch spacing on the other. Would be easy to miss with all the other small aluminum parts. I saw where Courtney left FF. Last Friday was her last day. But maybe they're still monitoring her mailbox. But I found always quicker to call.

some time back this was discussed in the 818 forum, and one of the more interesting ideas was to use the waistband off of an old pair of BVDs. Mark the minimum spacing, and then stretch it to provide even spacing for the rivets.

Look carefully in the aluminum panel box, mine was in there in between all the wrapping paper, and not easily seen at first.

... not easily seen at first.
And not easily seen later when you lay it down in the cockpit or trunk floor. After about the second time of losing it in plain sight I grabbed some spray bombs off the shelf and put a red, yellow and blue stripe on the thing!

Or - as the thing wears out, you can use other things for patterns -- you might like this post about measuring and marking -- or -- not measuring as this case may be:

I have the aircraft adjustable spacer(acordion). Think I got it at aircraft spruce.
