I've been driving around now for several years with only front wheel dust covers. I have Halibrand wheels (17") and used the lincoln rotors to gain 5 lugs. The "axle" extends about a half inch beyond the face of the wheel hub compounding the problem.

The "flat" plates (that caome with the wheels) fit nicely on the rears but I want to upgrade now (tired also of the old dust covers in front) to the Faux knockoffs, front and rear. I have been told that Halibrand no longer makes the wheel much less the KO's.

Any suggestions??
Thanks, Dick

2682Team III makes the faux knock off. Not sure if they would fit a real Halibrand wheel. I'd give Scott a call and see what he thinks. I have them on my
Team III's.

Even the Halibrand spinner caps had to be machined to properly fit on the Lincoln rotors. I had the rotors and caps machined a little bit.

Hey Joe, is that the Hallibrand spinner attachment? Looks like a deal for me but where can I find a set of the spinner/KO's. Will the team III KO's fit the Hallibrand, I talked with someone there and just got more confused....

Halibrand made some more knock off sets about a year ago and I purchased a set. I was on their waiting list and they actually called me to let me know they would sell me a set. Give them a call. If no luck, I do have another nice used set that I wasn't planning to sell but may consider it if you can't get them thru Halibrand.

Thanks Tad, that's good news for sure. I'll be giving them a call come Mo... Tuesday for sure. I should no better than to take gossip (they don't make them anymore) for truth....

I called Halibrand on Friday, July 1st. They do have the wings available. They are $94.50 each. That includes the threaded center cap and the wing threads to that. They are available in a flat design, as well as one with more angle for deep dish wheels.

Glad to hear they still have them.

On the fronts, was it neccesary to machine the spindle as well as the KO mounting device?

After looking at Joe's pics I'm wondering also about the 5 lug "Ranger" hubs in the rear. The raised center of the drum appears to be the same diameter as the hole in the wheel. It's also recessed behind the wheel quite a ways. Does the drum have to be turned (machined) down same as the front?
