It's official. State police issue the VIN number Thursday morning, by Friday I had insurance and registration/plates. This morning I got it back from alignment and corner balancing and put the first 15 miles on it. I still have to get it sorted out and have a small list of things to change, but I'll detail those in the build thread.

In summary:

Picked up 1/4/16 - Completed 7/22/17.
MK4, 2nd Gen Coyote, T-56 Mag 6 speed trans
2015 IRS with 15" wheels
No side pipes or hood scoop
Soft top
And about every option and aftermarket part I could find.
Everything done in house, including paint.

Here's some finished pictures. I'm planning on at least one professional photo shoot so when that's completed I post some better quality shots.

That is one fine looking car - always liked these with a softtop and the under car exhaust and no-scoop really make it in my book.

Well done! Which SP location did you go to? I'm slowly lurching in that direction....

Thanks. Nortboro Location, good experience. In and out in 2hrs. Left a voice mail, then it took a week for a call back, then another week for the apt. Most of their traffic is first come first serve dealers fixing salvage titles. Milford RMV was excellent. Branch manager knew exactly what to do. In and out in 45m (went about 2pm after the lunch rush). Next up inspection and MAC to process the crushed car paperwork for emissions exemption.

Here's my inspiration for the build. An original 66 at Pebble. I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out.

What a gorgeous car! I love how understated it looks without the sidepipes and hood scoop, and those billboards are the perfect finishing touch. Bravo!

Thanks. I was dreading the Watertown RMV experience, I'll definitely head to Milford. MAC already has my 1965 casting number, so hopefully that will go easy.

Yea, Kirkey low back, custom covered by local hot rod upholstery shop. Seat heaters in upper and lower. When I get a free moment I'll update all the pictures on my build thread from photobucket to something else.

Very nice! Love the street look!

How did you route the pipes?

I understand the new IRS is not compatible with IRS. Very sad.

Beautiful car, you should be very proud of your work. Question, I have a first generation Coyote I like the look of you engine cover and was wondering if it is Factory and if you or anyone could tell me if it would fit on the older Coyote,
Thanks Dan
