Is the filter supplied in the kit for EFI/electric & mechanical fuel pumps? I've seen with a mechanical pump the filter is between the pump & car ..

Stupid question, but does that mean it is a problem on a carb with a mechanical pump?
I deliberated this when I built it but decided I liked having the secondary filter as well. The filter near the tank is bigger (and I'm used to it from the old 5.0) and the filter upstream at the mechanical pump is a little bitty thing.
