So I bought my MKII from a consignment dealer. I showed up unannounced several times to check under it for leaks etc. I hired an inspector to check it out. All was good, no issues, great car, yadda yadda.
After 25 miles the front end is shaking. I have two coolant leaks and an oil leak.
65 Cobra Dude has been awesome helping me. With his and his friends help, we found I had a bad right front tire. Fixed. Tomorrow it goes into the shop for what I expect will be a new Aluminum radiator to replace the original 1990 Ford donor and a new polished water pump. The oil leak not sure yet but these issues have delayed my power steering conversion. I have everything I need minus the serpentine belt for the conversion. Can't thank 65 Cobra Dude (Henry) enough for his help and this forum. I'm a new Cobra owner and learning...

+1 on Henry being a great guy!

Welcome to the thrill of ownership. Don't let these initial frustrations get you down. As you have already discovered, there are some pretty great folks here that are a true wealth of knowledge. I can't tell you how much I have benefitted from the help received here!

Good luck with the few remaining issues, and I hope she provides plenty of fun for you going forward.

Regards,

Steve
