It's so annoying when you have a problem and don't see the problem staring you in the face! My neighbor said that he didn't like the look of the crimped connections on both ends of the red cable from the alternator post. Turns out he was right! I spent all that time swapping alternators, testing voltage here there and everywhere. I'm relieved!!
