Ceramic Paint Question

Ceramic Paint applied to the exhaust system is common. Has anyone considered using ceramic paint on the footbox aluminum? I've been doing some thermal testing at my day job for aeronautical applications and the stuff does a great job of holding up and reflecting/dispersing heat. Just curious if anyone's tried it.

I haven't tried it, but there's really no reason it wouldn't work well.
