First off I did use the search option and only got partial information.

Has anyone confirmed if there is an alternative mounting bracket that will clear 17" halibrand replicas? Or is there enough material to be ground off?
I really do not want to run 18"wheels and hope to use the supplied gt brakes that come with factory take outs.

It will clear 17x10.5 Bullits but I am not sure of Halibrands. You need to be careful where stick-on weights are positioned. You can grind all the outer ribs off the caliper to help w/ clearance. I did that on one side to help clear my oldest wheel (OE wheel from 2008) and then found out that the current wheels (American Muscle) don't require grinding.

What Halibrand replica? F5, Team III etc. I run a 11.65" rear Cobra, Bullitt, Mach I, brake system, IRS and 17" without issue using Richard Oben's kit. I had stock T-Bird prior with no issues either.
