My 289 FIA is set up for pin drive wheels. I have the front suspension mocked up but it seems off to me. Note the angle of the caliper in the picture. Is this how it should look???

The spindle is tipped out at the top and in at the bottom. Something just seems wrong.

I've not viewed any FFR assembly videos but unless the one Steve referred to is FIA specific it will only muddy the waters. Because of it's track width the FIA is unique and goes against the usual roadster practices. Even though it uses the FFR spindles the UCAs assemble to the upper mounts, unlike the Mk4 which only uses the top mounts with donor spindles.

I have an MK4. When I did the alignment, the rear adjustment ended up being all the way in (bottomed out). How much adjustment do you have left?

The Video Likely Muddies The Waters Because It Was For A MK-4 Build.
The Date Of The Video Likely Proceeds The Creation Of The 289-FIA!

So, I have moved the UCA to the upper mounting holes. Not sure if I just missed this in the manual or was just being dumb. Anyway, here is the picture of it relocated. Still seems to me that the UCA is at a pretty severe angle but I guess that will change with weight on the suspension. 69742

What was the final correct setup for your front suspension?
